PELITA AIR will add a new flight route, namely Jakarta (Soekarno-Hatta Airport)-Yogyakarta (YIA), starting June 20, 2022. Pelita Air will operate regular flight services on this route with a frequency of once per day.
According to the President Director of PT Pelita Air Service, Dendy Kurniawan, in his written statement, Monday (23/5) said the number of new routes opened to support the fulfillment of the need for increased air travel traffic. The opening of the route from Jakarta to Yogyakarta was chosen because Yogyakarta is one of the super priority tourism destinations.
Dendy said that the opening of the route is expected to support the revival of post-pandemic Indonesian tourism, in addition to supporting the need for air services for students and academics in Yogyakarta as well as other business travelers.
Pelita Air tickets for the Jakarta-Yogyakarta-Jakarta route can be purchased from Saturday 21 May 2022 at the Pelita Air contact center service at 0811-7110-800 (WhatsApp text service) or at email customercare@pelita-air.com. In addition, now Pelita Air tickets can be purchased at various Pelita Air travel agency partners such as Mitra Tours and Travel, tiket.com, Bayu Buana Travel, Panorama JTB Tour, Dwidaya Tour, Antavaya, and Voltras Travel.

The following is the flight schedule for Pelita Air from Jakarta to Yogyakarta: (1). Jakarta-Yogyakarta (IP240): at 06.40 WIB-07.55 WIB, (2). Yogyakarta-Jakarta (IP241): 08.40 WIB-10.00 WIB.
In addition to opening new routes, Pelita Air will also increase the frequency of flights for the Jakarta-Bali-Jakarta route to 2 times a day on 20 June 2022, from previously only 1 time a day.
