THE 2022 World Airline Awards held by Skytrax released the 20 best airlines in the world in 2022. This year, Qatar Airways was named the best airline, followed by Singapore Airlines.
Furthermore, Emirates took third place, followed by ANA All Nippon Airways in fourth, and Qantas Airways in fifth. This best airline was selected from more than 350 airlines included in the survey results.
Qatar Airways won nine awards, competing with Singapore Airlines which also received nine awards. In North America, Delta Air Lines was successful in North America, winning six awards.
In Europe, Turkish Airlines dominates, receiving four awards including the highly competitive Best Airline in Europe title. Vistara from India is another major winner, receiving two awards, Best Airline in India and South Asia and Best Airline Staff Service in India and South Asia.
AirBaltic is celebrating success at the 2022 World Airline Awards for the first time, receiving awards for Best Airline in Eastern Europe, Best Airline Upgrade in Europe and Best Airline Staff in Eastern Europe.
