STARTING DECEMBER 1, CITILINK WILL ADD FLIGHT ROUTES FROM HALIM AIRPORT

THE CITILINK airline is adding several flight routes from Halim Perdanakusuma Airport starting December 1, 2022. One of them is the route to Silangit, Semarang and Palembang.

The addition of this route complements Citilink’s flight routes which previously operated from Halim Perdanakusuma Airport to Denpasar, Surabaya, Malang, Medan, Yogyakarta and Purbalingga.

According to the main director of Citilink, Dewa Kadek Rai (11/25), the addition of routes is to provide convenience for people’s mobility, both business and tourist trips between regions. This is clear evidence of Citilink’s commitment to provide added value to customers by providing new options for flying from Jakarta to various cities in Indonesia besides going through Soekarno-Hatta International Airport.

“Apart from adding routes from Halim Perdanakusuma Airport, Citilink has also reopened the Batam-Silangit route back and forth. By serving flights twice a week (Monday and Friday) starting December 12, 2022 using an Airbus A320 type aircraft,” he said.

Dewa hopes that the addition of various flight routes can facilitate people’s mobility and can support the development of regional potential, both for accelerating economic recovery and regional tourism.
