POPEYES, a fast-food fried chicken restaurant from Louisiana, United States is expanding to Indonesia. It is targeted to be able to open up to 300 outlets.
According to the President of Popeyes Indonesia, Sandeep Dey said that our party has ambitions to build 300 Popeyes outlets in Indonesia, a country where people really like fried chicken and rice is a staple food.
“We want to pamper Indonesian consumers with the best-in-class fried chicken taste, a bold taste and offer a variety of menus made from chicken,” he said, Monday (12/26).
Furthermore, to realize this ambition, Popeyes outlets are planned to open from Margo City on December 29, 2022, followed by the opening of other outlets in Indonesia.
‘Popeyes will open outlets on Jalan MH Thamrin, Kelapa Gading area, Depok, Karawaci, Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK), and Bintaro to pamper consumers in Greater Jakarta. Our vision is to become the chicken destination in Indonesia,” said Sandeep.
Meanwhile, President of Restaurant Brand International (RBI) Asia Pacific, Rafael Odorizzi said that as the parent company of Popeyes, his party is very proud to be able to bring Popeyes to Indonesia.
“We are very excited to bring Popeyes to Indonesia with RBA, a very strong regional company in the restaurant industry and also our long-term partner,” he remarked.
PT Sari Chicken, a subsidiary of PT Sari Burger, part of the RBA business group launched Popeyes Chicken restaurants in Indonesia located in several places in Greater Jakarta later this year.
“The presence of Popeyes in Indonesia illustrates our commitment to serving more consumers around the world with a unique and flavourful New Orleans-style menu,” Rafael concluded. [traveltext.id]
