REFFERING to jogja.imigration.go.id the Directorate General of Immigration issued Circular Number IMI-0700.GR.01.01 of 2022 concerning Immigration Facilities in the Context of Supporting Sustainable Tourism during the 2019 Corona Virus Disease Pandemic.
Citing the Bandung Immigration Office page, it is stated that a visa on arrival (VoA) is a visa that applies specifically to residents of certain countries when arriving in Indonesian territory. VoA is given to foreigners visiting Indonesia for several purposes, such as business, leisure and social visits.
This latest regulation was issued on 14 September 2022. This latest circular replaces or revokes the previous circular with the same subject on 26 July 2022.
In short, in the latest circular letter it regulates the addition of subject country visit visas on tourist arrivals or what is commonly called a visa on arrival. Previously, the Indonesian government allowed 75 countries as VoA subjects and that number has now increased to 86 countries.
