BINTANG Toedjoe Inovasi Natural through its Redgine brand organized the Redgine Coffee Mocktail Showcase event at Titik Temu Café, Cipete, Jakarta on Tuesday, (02/14), 2023. The event, which was supported by the Indonesian Barista Community, was an effort to introduce Redgine, a red ginger extract initiated by the BINA Division (Bintang Toedjoe Inovasi Natural) as an authentic Indonesian (RI’s) natural product that is sustainable and fair trade, the result of traceable and recorded ecosystem production.
According to Lidya Warjaya, BU BINA Commercalization Div. Head of PT Bintang Toedjoe said Redgine is guaranteed to have excellent quality, has been checked to be free of heavy metals, pesticide residues and aflatoxin which can be harmful to the body, and is halal certified.
“Bintang Toedjoe Inovasi Natural has a vision to make Red Ginger as an authentic Indonesian herbal icon. For this reason, the Redgine ecosystem was formed to support the sustainability of the supply and consistency of the quality of red ginger raw materials. This ecosystem focuses on the 3P principles of People, Planet, Prosperity; this is why Redgine always prioritizes positive impacts on the environment, society, and all related stakeholders,” she said.
Lidya Warjaya explained, on this good occasion, I represent the management of PT Bintang Toedjoe, thank you for the support of Redgine stakeholders, namely all parties involved in the Redgine ecosystem, starting from farmers who have committed to producing good quality red ginger, government agencies, academics, researchers, and others who I cannot mention one by one. We hope that red ginger will become an icon of authentic Indonesian herbs, and we can improve the welfare of Indonesian red ginger farmers.
She explained that Redgine has been used for PT Bintang Toedjoe products such as Bejo Jahe Merah, Bejo Sujamer, Komix Herbal variants and has been exported to various countries such as America, Singapore, and Malaysia.
“If previously Redgine has held various webinars and Food & Beverage Chef Event in Solo, then to coincide with Valentine’s Day, Redgine invites Indonesian baristas to be creative using its Premium Red Ginger Extract as the main ingredient in the Coffee Mocktail Showcase event,” she remarked.
