THE CZECH Republic offers a variety of alternative tourist destinations for tourists who want to vacation in the country that is often referred to as the country of a thousand castles.
Currently, Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic, is one of the tourist destinations in Europe, besides Paris, especially for tourists who want to find a romantic atmosphere accompanied by various classic buildings.
According to CzechTourism Agency Regional Director, Lukas Pokorny in a statement here on Friday (02/17), 2023, the concession for tourists who want to visit the Czech Republic is given through the ease of granting Schengen visas.
“With the Schengen visa, travelers from abroad can visit 26 countries in the Schengen area freely for 90 days. The ease of granting Schengen visas for those who meet the requirements can be an incentive for tourists who want to visit and be a positive point for those who want to continue traveling from one country to another,” he said.
To support the decision, the Embassy of the Czech Republic is working with Enjoy Europe, CzechTourism Agency, Fashion Arena, and Art of Travel travel agency to package the Czech Republic as an ideal tourist destination.
“In order to make the most of the Schengen visa, Enjoy Europe is present as a special transportation for tourists to enjoy traveling in Czech without being hindered by language barriers,” he said.
Therefore, he guarantees that the transportation drivers can speak English and are obliged to accompany tourists so that they do not get lost during historical and natural beauty tours in the country.
Currently, the Czech Republic is one of the countries in Eastern Europe that has a growth in the number of tourist arrivals of up to 23% by 2022 as well as popularity as a tourist destination that has continued to increase in the last 10 years.
In addition to classic buildings, the Czech Republic also has the Fashion Arena Prague Outlet which is home to more than 200 world-renowned local and international fashion brands ranging from sportswear, accessories, cosmetics, and interior design.
