INDONESIA INT’L MOTOR SHOW 2023 REACHES IDR3.2 TRILLION IN REVENUE

AS THE FINAL days of the event approach, the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2023 automotive exhibition has booked revenue of IDR3.2 trillion.

“Transactions reported by four-wheeled, two-wheeled, electric motorcycle, including shipping brands have reached Rp3.2 trillion as of Thursday,” explained IIMS 2023 Project Manager Rudi MF at JIEXpo Kemayoran, Jakarta, Saturday (02/26).

Last year, the IIMS event earned IDR3.4 trillion in revenue for a total of 11 days. By aiming for IDR3.8 trillion this year, Rudi hopes that until the last day of the event which falls on Sunday (26/2) it will not only be met but exceed the target.

Rudi said the number of visitors to IIMS 2023 also increased by 24 percent from last year. Last year 378 thousand visitors for 11 days. Due to the current pandemic factor that has subsided, this year our estimate of the target of 400 thousand can be exceeded.

As in previous years, four-wheeled vehicles contributed the most. Of the total 9,000-unit vehicles sold, 7,000 of them were four-wheelers.

The IIMS 2023 was held from February 16-26 by inviting a series of top artists on the entertainment stage, such as Dewa 19, Ari Lasso, Rizky Febian, JKT48, The Cangcuters, Vierratale, The Adams, Juicy Luicy, Isyana Sarasvati, Nadin Amizah, and Kunto Aji.

Next year, the Indonesia International Motor Show exhibition will be held again on February 15-25, 2024, at the same location, JIExpo Kemayoran, Central Jakarta. [antaranews]
