AHEAD of Lebaran (Eid) 2023, PT Angkasa Pura II, as the manager of Palangkaraya’s Tjilik Riwut airport, began making a number of preparations to support the smooth transportation of homecoming and return flows.
According to Executive General Manager (EGM) of PT Angkasa Pura II Tjilik Riwut airport, Ardha Wulanigara revealed a number of these preparations. Starting from the opening of the 2023 Lebaran transportation post at Tjilik Riwut airport in the period H-10 to H+10 Lebaran.
“Preparation for the Eid transportation period we will open a post on H-10 to H+10 Eid, so it is estimated to fall on April 13 to May 3, 2023,” he said, Tuesday (04/04), 2023.
In addition, there will be additional flight schedules or extra flights from two airlines to ensure that all passengers who use services at Tjilik Riwut airport can be served optimally.
The extra flights include Batik Air from April 7 to May 7, 2023 for the Jakarta-Palangkaraya and Palangkaraya-Jakarta routes. Then, from Lion Air from April 13-19, 2023 with Surabaya-Palangkaraya and Palangkaraya-Surabaya routes.
Meanwhile, Tjilik Riwut Airport will also adjust to meet the service-to-service users, namely by optimizing operating hours. So that usually operating hours at Tjilik Riwut airport start at 7:00 WIB until 17:00 WIB, during the Eid transportation period we will adjust it, starting at 7:00 WIB until 19:00 WIB.
He added, currently his party is still implementing applicable regulations related to PPKM. It also continues to collaborate with the Port Health Office (KKP) of Tjilik Riwut airport, for the requirements needed during the Eid 2023 transportation period.
However, his party also continues to follow developments, if there is a new Circular Letter (SE) from the government regarding the requirements for traveling by air, for passengers, of course his party will adjust together with all stakeholders at the airport. [sources/photo special]
