INDONESIA Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) will certainly build Kuta Land facilities in the Mandalika Special Economic Zone (SEZ). This was conveyed by ITDC Director of Technical and Operations, Troy Reza Warokka, Friday (04/14), 2023.
“We will definitely build the Kuta Land facility which will connect Kuta Beach with Mandalika Bazaar,” said Troy.
He revealed, currently ITDC has also built the Al Hakim Mosque which is a collaboration between ITDC and the Association of State-Owned Banks (Himbara). The Al Hakim Mosque is the second facility built by ITDC after previously successfully building the Nurul Bilad Mandalika Mosque.
“Hopefully the Al Hakim Mosque can be used by the community during Eid al-Fitr. But at this time, I see it has begun to be actively used for community worship activities,” Troy remarked.
Meanwhile, regarding the target of tourists in Mandalika SEZ, Troy admitted that ITDC has a target of around 15 thousand tourists in 2023. But for him, one of the most important things is good transportation support including airlines that are increasingly varied.
Regarding Lebaran homecoming, Troy revealed, ITDC will build three Lebaran homecoming posts in Mandalika SEZ. The purpose of building this post is to provide information to travelers and tourists where this Eid leave is predicted to increase tourists.
“This Eid post is also for complaints of loss ranging from lost children, lost goods and so on. At present we have coordinated with the Indonesia National Army (TNI) and National Police (Polri) for the construction of the post,” Troy concluded. [sources/photo special]
