LION AIR PROVIDES 1.5 MILLION SEATS FOR HOMECOMING FLIGHTS

FLIGHTS are the fastest and most efficient option to reach short, medium and long-distance destinations, such as intercity or interprovincial. Within a few hours, passengers can go home or vacation easily and comfortably.

Lion Air member of Lion Air Group announced the period 13-30 April 2023 provides 1,507,860 domestic flight seats. The availability of these seats is in an effort to meet the needs of the holiday season market demand and Lebaran or homecoming.

“To accommodate the increased demand, Lion Air increases the number of flights and provides more seats. This is done in order to provide opportunities for more people to be able to fly to where they want. The details, regular flights 1,360,800 seats and additional flights (extra flight) 147,060 seats,” explained Corporate Communications Strategic of Lion Air, Danang Mandala Prihantoro in a press release.

Passengers will have more flight options available. With an increased number of seats and flight frequencies, Lion Air can serve more routes. This allows passengers to choose the time and route that better suits their schedule.

Lion Air understands that the demand for flights from the public is higher during homecoming and holidays because of the desire to meet family and friends, take a vacation, or simply travel.

“The homecoming and holiday season is a time when people often have free time to take a vacation or visit relatives. Most people take advantage of this time to make pre-planned trips,” he said.

According to Danang, Lion Air is optimistic that the dynamics of flight demand during the homecoming and holiday seasons tend to be higher and grow compared to previous periods. So that air travel becomes an increasingly popular choice for people to travel.
