According to Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive, Akbar Al Baker, said the new lounge named “The Garden” offers an amazing relaxation experience. The Garden is presented to provide the best experience to accompany the traveler’s journey.
“Passengers can now enjoy a new level of travel comfort at the newly opened Al Mourjan Business Lounge or The Garden at Hamad International Airport. This world-class lounge showcases a sophisticated way of travel, centered on comfort, wellness and nature. I welcome our premium passengers to experience this spectacular addition to our lounge portfolio,” said Akbar Al Baker.
Furthermore, the lounge located in the northern extension of Hamad International Airport is a premium lounge with luxurious amenities. Overlooking ‘The ORCHARD’, the new lounge is also surrounded by renowned retailers and restaurants, while offering uniquely designed spaces and relaxation areas to socialize and enjoy the beautiful masterpiece.
Spanning an area of 7,390-square-meters, The Garden can accommodate up to 707 passengers. The exclusive retreat for Qatar Airways passengers features 24 resting spaces.
Each of these rooms is designed to offer optimal relaxation available free of charge for the first six hours, and also features seven spa treatment rooms. Not only that, the new lounge is also designed for those who want to vacation with their families. There are dining options, relaxation rooms, fitness studios, pedicure and manicure stations, dedicated private rooms, recreation areas, and nursing rooms.
The lounge has a modern aesthetic touch that incorporates natural light in its distinct design, giving passengers an immersive experience that reflects The Orchard located below. The Garden serves as an extension of the iconic Al Mourjan Business Lounge.
The lounge has previously won several awards such as World’s Best Business Class Lounge Dining by Skytrax Airline Ratings Awards and so on. Both lounges can accommodate up to 1,600 passengers at a time, offering luxurious facilities that include showers, changing rooms, business areas and lounges in the North and South of Hamad International Airport.
