DEEP and EXTREME Indonesia (DXI) 2023, an international exhibition in the diving, water sports, extreme sports, and outdoor adventure categories, is coming to Jakarta on June 1-4, 2023 at Hall B of the Jakarta Convention Center.
DXI 2023 will be a platform for the sports enthusiast community to exchange experiences, shop, and access various information and destinations related to extreme tourism, diving, and outdoor adventure activities.
DXI 2023 Project Manager Wila Sumampouw said, carrying the theme “The Ultimate Thrill”, DXI 2023 comes with new developments to answer the needs of communities with broader hobbies such as extreme sports and outdoor adventure, while inviting the public to start adventuring in the beauty and uniqueness of Indonesian nature.
“Unlike previous years that focused on diving sports, this year DXI expands the outdoor adventure category by further strengthening extreme sports as part of the sea and land-based outdoor adventure industry in Indonesia,” Wila said through an official statement received on Thursday.
Wila also said that through DXI 2023, her party hopes to contribute to restoring the economy of the Indonesian tourism sector, especially diving, outdoor adventure and marine tourism.
“We are trying to introduce the potential of nature tourism to the public which is one of the tourism trends that is expected to regenerate the Indonesian tourism sector which is known for its natural wealth including its beautiful and diverse sports tourism spots after the pandemic,” said Wila.
DXI 2023 will feature talk shows, seminars, community sharing, a wide variety of products and packages for outdoor adventure destinations for sports lovers of Scuba Diving, Freediving, Paddling, Kayaking, Fishing, Surfing, Surfskate, Mountain Bike & Motor Adventure.
In addition, there will be various exciting activities to entertain visitors, including Scubex (Scuba Experience), Underwater Photo Talks, Children Ocean Costume Contest, Adventure ShootOut, Surfer’s Wave Bank, and Indoor MTB Park.
Visitors can also get special prices on various diving equipment, nature activities, water sports, extreme sports, photography equipment, gadgets, accessories and supporting travel activities to outdoor activities and door prizes.
