INDICATIVE CEILING FOR FISCAL YEAR 2024 TOURISM MINISTRY IS IDR3.4 TRILLION

THE INDONESIAN Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy explained the number of indicative ceiling of the 2024 fiscal year in a working meeting with the House of Representatives Commission X at the Indonesian Parliament Building, Central Jakarta, Wednesday (5/31/2023).

According to the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, Sandiaga Uno explained that the Tourism Ministry Indicative Ceiling for the 2024 fiscal year was Rp3,419,987,309,000. This indicative ceiling has increased compared to the list of budget implementation (DIPA) in 2023 which amounted to IDR3,381,345,168,000.

“Although this increase is not very significant but this is an increase of 1.14%, we utilize the Indicative Ceiling of the 2024 Fiscal Year for maximum breakthroughs and innovations to improve the quality of human resources (HR) in the tourism and creative economy sectors,” he said.

Sandiaga explained, we need breakthroughs and innovations so that our human resources are not degraded, because the superiority of our tourism is in HR. Therefore, I make sure here with this challenging budget we will work hard to ensure the quality of our human resources is not degraded but instead increases and we will do it through innovation, adaptation, and collaboration.

Responding to this, Chairman of the House of Representatives Commission X, Syaiful Huda as the chair of the meeting said the deepening of the material would be carried out with the Kemenparekraf related to the preparation of the Work Plan and Budget of the State Ministry/Institution (RKA K/L) and the Government Work Plan for the 2024 Budget Year.
