STATE-Owner Enterprises (SOE) or BUMN, Minister Erick Thohir asked that digitalization must occur in the Indonesian Aviation and Tourism Industry Holding InJourney in order to facilitate services and encourage transparency.
“Data is the key, because with data being the key, we can prepare according to the data what our consumers do. This means that digitalization must occur in InJourney, to facilitate services, detect something because transparency is important,” said Erick Thohir at the event InJourney Talks at Taman Mini Indonesia Indah, Jakarta, Tuesday (8/01), 2023.
Erick Thohir now sees the importance of encouraging digitalization in InJourney, because the so-called service sector or the tourism industry is impossible to speak without data.
“Of course, we go back to how to synchronize this good data and predict things in the future,” he stated.
Erick Thohir also encouraged the younger generation to have a better understanding of digitalization, so that transformation at InJourney runs faster.
“I believe that with the presence of the younger generation, the digitalization transformation will be faster,” he remarked.
InJourney is considered a company that continues to grow, so Erick hopes that the younger generation will effectively become part of the transformation that InJourney wants.
