DUBAI WATCH WEEK 2023 EXHIBITION: WHERE TIME MEETS CULTURE

IN a celebration of precision, craftsmanship, and timeless elegance, Dubai Watch Week 2023, the pinnacle of horological excellence, returns for its sixth edition from November 16 to 20. Promising to be an immersive journey into the world of watches at The Gate, Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC).

More than 55 brands, including Rolex, Audemars Piguet, Van Cleef & Arpels, Chanel and Hublot, will take part. This year’s event is the biggest so far, organizers say. Last year, more than 16,000 visited and a greater number are expected to attend.

As quoted from GQ Midlle East said Dubai Watch Week stands as a testament to the UAE’s commitment to becoming a global center for culture, heritage, and the arts. Over 60 participating brands, including more than 10 newcomers, are set to showcase their masterpieces, making this event an unmissable experience for enthusiasts and the public alike.

Among the highlights are over 20 exclusive launches from industry titans like Rolex, Audemars Piguet, TUDOR, Hublot and Bulgari. The event transforms into a haven for watch aficionados at The Collectors Lounge, fostering a sense of community and providing curated sessions for international and regional enthusiasts.

The Horology Forum, a signature feature of Dubai Watch Week, hosts panels and debates that delve into the intersection of horology with luxury automotive, artisanship, and education. This year introduces the first-ever Arabic panel, broadening the horizons of the audience and enriching the discourse around the craftsmanship behind the world’s most intricate timepieces.

Elevating the experience, 11 masterclasses offer a hands-on exploration of horological artistry. From Bovet’s ‘Miss Audrey’s Sweet Art Dial-Making’ to the Sheikhen workshop’s transformation of vintage Norwegian silver spoons into wearable art, these sessions showcase the artistry behind the tick-tock of time.

The Creative Hub extends the narrative beyond timekeeping, featuring thought-provoking dialogues such as the ‘Super League of Sustainability’ and an intimate conversation with Mr. Jean Claude Biver, providing insights into the transformative influence on the watch industry.

Christie’s returns with engaging talks, educational panels, and complimentary watch valuations by their horology specialists. The Christie’s auction for kids ensures that even the youngest enthusiasts get a taste of the auction experience.

Guests are invited to explore culinary concepts crafted by La Niña, Home Bakery, KITCH-IN, and TWST, creating a sensory journey that complements the elegance of the timepieces on display.
