NUSANTARA CITY INVESTMENT IS TARGETED AT IDR45.5 TRILLION BY THE END OF 2023

INVESTMENT in the Nusantara City infrastructure development project, in parts of North Penajam Paser Regency and Kutai Kartanegara Regency, East Kalimantan Province, is targeted to reach approximately IDR45.5 trillion by the end of this year (2023).

“The investment value of the new Indonesian capital infrastructure development project by the end of 2023 could reach IDR45.5 trillion,” explained Head of the Archipelago Capital Authority (OIKN) Bambang Susantono in Penajam, Sunday (11/26), 2023.

The groundbreaking for a number of the first Nusantara City development projects was carried out on 21-22 September 2023 with an investment value of around IDR23 trillion.

The first stone was laid for a number of new Indonesian capital development projects in the second phase which will take place 1-2 November 2023 with an investment value of around IDR12.5 trillion.

The investment value included in the infrastructure development project for Indonesia’s future capital city in the first and second stages, he said, reached approximately IDR35.5 trillion.

At the groundbreaking for a number of third phase Nusantara City infrastructure development projects, according to him again, the incoming investment value is targeted to reach around IDR10 trillion.

The groundbreaking for a number of new infrastructure development projects for Indonesia’s capital city will be carried out in the third phase, including the Financial Services Authority (OJK), the Deposit Insurance Corporation (LPS) and the Health Social Security Administering Agency (BPJS).

Then there are the hotel and property development projects Jambuluwuk Hotels and Resort, The Pakubuwono Development and BSH Group, as well as Indogrosir owned by the Salim Group, Balikpapan Superblock (BSB) and a joint venture supermarket between Erajaya Group and Grand Lucky.

Furthermore, the groundbreaking for the third phase was also carried out for the construction of the IKN Botanical Gardens and Forest Reforestation, the Arsari Group’s Orangutan Sanctuary Center (PSO), as well as the Indonesian Green Belt Movement crowdsourcing for reforestation.

According to Bambang Susantono, President Joko Widodo plans to lay the first stone for a number of infrastructure development projects in the third phase of Nusantara City, said Bambang Susantono, from 13 to 15 December 2023.
