THE INDONESIAN Hotel Public Relations Association (H3) celebrated its 28th anniversary, which was held on December 14, 2023, at the JS Luwansa Hotel. Founded 28 years ago, on November 27, 1995, to be precise, H3 was formed as an organization/association for public relations practitioners in the Indonesian tourism sector, especially the Indonesian hospitality sector.
According to Yulia Maria, Chairwoman of H3 Indonesia for the 2022-2024 period, said H3 aims to strengthen relationships/communication between fellow public relations practitioners with the principles of mutual encouragement, compassion, nurturing, advancing and developing the profession of public relations practitioners, as well as maintaining and improving the positive image of the hotel industry in in particular and the Indonesian tourism industry in general.
“By being ratified as a legal entity, H3 is now officially H3 Indonesia which has several Regional Management Bodies, such as BPD H3 Yogyakarta, and BPD H3 Surabaya, as well as other BPDs which will be formed soon in other cities in Indonesia, she said.
Yulia explained that 28 years has been an extraordinary journey for H3 as a professional organization in the Indonesian hotel industry. Many achievements have been achieved, of course thanks to the hard work, dedication and collaboration of the public relations practitioners gathered in H3.
“Therefore, we would like to thank all H3 members who have been an irreplaceable part of this journey. Let’s continue to innovate, share ideas and strengthen cooperation networks to advance Indonesian tourism, especially the Indonesian hotel industry,” Yulia remarked.
The 28th anniversary of H3 Indonesia was lively and attended by H3 stakeholders, consisting of: Communication Bureau of the Indonesian Ministry of Tourism & Creative Economy, represented by DR Dadam Mahdar, BPP Indonesian Hotel and Restaurant Association (PHRI) represented by Krishnadi. BPD PHRI Jakarta, represented by Ira Kania as Executive Director, Jakarta Hotel Association, represented by Arini Yulianti as Executive Director, Medias, founders and supervisors of H3 Indonesia and members of H3 Indonesia.
