INDONESIAN State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN), Minister Erick Thohir asked all BUMN to have media infrastructure, both online and social media. I ask that all state-owned companies must have media infrastructure, online and social media should not cover up corruption but must be part of openness.
According to Erick recently said that now is an era of openness, an era where civil society is a part of life, so in line with this he continues to encourage all BUMN to report on their performance and not cover up anything.
“I encourage us to have the courage to speak facts, not cover up facts. We need to convey good performance or policies because they are solutions,” he said.
In supporting its role in public communication regarding BUMN news, each BUMN needs to have capable infrastructure. This can be done whether online or offline media which can be a link to the public to inform them about news and the performance of BUMN.
“In addition to infrastructure, support from internal parties also plays an important role in public communication regarding BUMN news. State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) employees must also actively participate in voicing news, policies or performance from BUMN so that they can build pride in the company where the employees belong,” concluded Erick.
