THE MINISTER of Creative Economy met with the Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development (Menko IPK), Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY), to strengthen cooperation in supporting the strengthening of infrastructure for the creative economy in various regions in Indonesia.
“In developing the creative economy, cooperation with various ministries is certainly necessary. Especially with Kemenko IPK, which coordinates developments in all regions in Indonesia,” said Riefky after a meeting with Menko AHY, Tuesday (12/03), 2024, in Jakarta.

Riefky will also coordinate with regional governments through the Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri) to identify regions with exceptional creative economy potential and development. So that it can become not only the backbone of the national economy, but also the backbone of the regional economy.
“This cooperation can take the form of providing connectivity or revitalization of creative centers in these regions,” he said.
Meanwhile, Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development (Menko IPK) Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) said the creative economy could be an engine of economic growth in the future.
“So far, the creative economy has experienced various advances and continues to develop, but there are also many aspects that can be improved. Including which regions in Indonesia will be strengthened to increase the economic potential, including opening up employment opportunities for the community,” said Minister AHY.
Minister AHY continued, many aspects need infrastructure touches, especially the supporting infrastructure that needs to be improved for the progress of the creative economy sector.
