DEPUTY Minister of Creative Economy Irene Umar said that Game Corner at Terminal 3 Soekarno-Hatta (Soetta) Airport, Tangerang, Banten, was inaugurated and used as a means to promote local creative works.
Deputy Minister of Creative Economy Irene in her statement, recently said that the inauguration of Game Corner was a follow-up to the MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) between the Ministry of Creative Economy and InJourney regarding the development of the creative economy ecosystem, which was signed on December 17, 2024.
“This cooperation aims to create synergies in the development of relevant tourism infrastructure as well as the use of marketing facilities to support creative economy activities,” said Irene.
She recently inaugurated the Game Corners at Terminal 3 Soekarno Hatta Airport, Tangerang, Banten, on Tuesday (12/24/2024).
The game collection will also be updated every three months to introduce more local creative works to the public and international tourists.
Irene explained that Game Corners features a number of selected local games such as Potion Permit, Troublemaker, My Lovely Empress, Petit Island, and Dreadout 2, curated by the Indonesian Games Association with the support of Nadi 13. In addition, there is a showcase of Android-based games that can be downloaded using the QR code provided, including Dadoo, Cisini Stories, Where is My Cat, and Selera Nusantara.
“We hope that this will be a real form where we can circulate Indonesian talent in our country and abroad. This is the talent that needs to be showcased so that local games can become kings in their own country and spread abroad,” concluded Irene. [traveltext.id]
