MINISTRY OF CREATIVE ECONOMY COLLABORATES WITH INJOURNEY

THE MINISTRY of Creative Economy continues to promote the growth of the creative economy through strategic collaboration with various institutions, including PT Aviasi Pariwisata Indonesia (InJourney). This collaboration aims to accelerate the implementation of creative economy programs that are in line with the direction of the central government.

According to Deputy Minister of Creative Economy, Irene Umar on Saturday (02/15), 2025 said that many may feel sad because of budget efficiency. However, with this efficiency there is a way that can be done, namely through collaboration. InJourney is one of our biggest partners who started working with us in December 2024. TMII is already going full throttle, Soekarno-Hatta Airport with a game corner is also running and will be expanded to 7 cities this year.

“Collaboration with InJourney includes the development of relevant tourism infrastructure and the use of marketing facilities to support creative economy activities. Some examples of the real implementation of this cooperation are the creation of a game corner at Terminal 3 of Soekarno-Hatta Airport, which is a new attraction for tourists, and a reading corner and merchandise shop at Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII), which showcases local intellectual property (IP) works,” he said.

Meanwhile, Tasya Intan Nur Dewi, head of InJourney’s Customer Experience Group, said the collaboration with the Ministry of Creative Economy has shown exceptionally fast and effective results. This is the first time that InJourney has worked so quickly with the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy. In just one week, we were able to present a game corner in Terminal 3 of Soetta Airport.

“In addition, the reading corner and merchandising store at TMII are now filled with many local IP works. This will continue to support local artists,” said Tasya.

The Roadmap of Indonesian Tourism Through Creative Industry Workshop, held on February 14, 2025, was part of a collaboration between the Ministry of Creative Economy and InJourney, which aims to create a roadmap for the development of the creative industry in Indonesia.

Deputy Minister of Creative Economy Irene explained various collaborative work programs that have been implemented or will be implemented, especially in the priority sub-sectors of the creative economy identified by The Ministry of National Development Planning/National Development Planning Agency (Bappenas).

The presentation was made by each deputy, namely the Deputy for Strategic Development of Creative Economy, the Deputy for Cultural Creativity and Design, the Deputy for Digital Creativity and Technology and the Deputy for Media Creativity.

The quick work of the Ministry of Creative Economy was appreciated by InJourney as a cooperation partner. According to Tasya, the Ministry of Creative Economy’s relaxed approach and innovative ideas encourage the creation of a comfortable and productive collaboration.

“We really want the creative industry to develop so that local IPs and local artists can contribute to providing something fresh and unique to the community. This will certainly increase customer satisfaction with InJourney’s services,” added Tasya.

The cooperation with InJourney, signed on December 17, 2024, is a strategic step in the development of the creative economy sector. Deputy Minister of Creative Economy, Irene Umar, emphasized that collaboration is the main key in facing budget efficiency. [traveltext.id].
