THE MINISTRY of Creative Economy (Kemenekraf) is strengthening synergy with the Ministry of Investment and Downstream (Kemeninves) to promote investment in the creative economy (ekraf) sector. The enhanced cooperation aims to create quality jobs for the younger generation.
The meeting, which took place at the Kemeninves building, was attended in person by the Minister of Creative Economy, Teuku Riefky Harsya, and the Minister of Investment and Downstream, Rosan Perkasa Roeslani.
“The development of the creative industry and downstream will have a direct impact on increasing value added and creating quality jobs,” said Riefky in the meeting, which took place on Tuesday (03/18) 2025.
According to Riefky, this meeting also strengthened cooperation in increasing investment in the creative economy, which is the main priority in the Asta Cita document, namely the development of the creative industry (3rd Asta Cita) and the continuation of downstreaming (5th Asta Cita).
Riefky emphasized that the development of the creative industry and downstreaming will have a direct impact on increasing added value and creating quality jobs.
“Cooperation between the Ministry of Creative Economy and the Ministry of Investment & Downstreaming/BKPM is very necessary to promote the growth of the creative economy,” said Riefky noted.
For this reason, Riefky emphasized the need to renew the MoU between the Ministry of Creative Economy and the Ministry of Investment. The renewal of the MoU is expected to strengthen the synergy between the two ministries in supporting the growth of creative economy investments that create quality jobs for the younger generation.

In addition, Riefky also emphasized that the consolidation of creative economy investment data based on the RPJMN 2025-2029 is a strategic step. This data consolidation is expected to provide a more accurate picture of the potential and challenges in developing the creative economy in Indonesia, so that policies can be more targeted and effective in supporting sustainable creative economy growth and making the creative economy the new growth engine that will drive Indonesia’s economic growth towards Indonesia Emas 2045.
“The consolidation of creative economy investment data based on the RPJMN 2025-2029 is a strategic step to support sustainable creative economic growth,” Riefky explained.
The Ministry of Creative Economy, under the leadership of Teuku Riefky Harsya, aims to achieve 27 million jobs in 5 years, especially for the younger generation to create quality jobs.
Assisted by Irene Umar as Deputy Minister of Creative Economy, Riefky encourages 17 sub-sectors of the creative economy to realize Prabowo-Gibran’s vision and mission, especially Asta Cita number 3, which is to increase quality employment, promote entrepreneurship and develop the creative industry.
By strengthening the ecosystem in a hexahelix manner, the Ministry of Creative Economy is believed to be able to become the new growth engine or a new engine of national economic growth starting from the regions. [traveltext.id]
