OFFICIALLY, PELITA AIR FLIES SERVE JAKARTA-SINGAPORE ROUTE ROUND-TRIP DAILY

AS SCHEDULED, Pelita Air officially serve the Jakarta-Singapore route on Monday, August 18, 2025. The flight departs once a day, and tickets start at IDR1 million per seat.

The inauguration of this route took place at Changi International Airport in Singapore, Lukman F. Laisa, the Director General of Civil Aviation at the Ministry of Transportation, said that opening this route is an important step in increasing the capacity of national air transportation.

“The Jakarta-Singapore route provides greater mobility for the community and opens more opportunities for tourists, businesspeople, and investments to enter Indonesia,” Lukman said in an official statement.

He added that his office is committed to managing international airlines, especially with regard to safety, security, and service quality.

“We encourage maintaining the quality of services for the community so that public trust in national flights increases,” he said.

According to his statement, Pelita Air serves flights from Jakarta in the morning at 7:10 a.m. local time from Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, scheduled to land in Singapore at 10:00 a.m. local time.

Meanwhile, flights departing from Singapore’s Changi International Airport left at 11:00 a.m. local time and arrived in Jakarta at 11:50 a.m. local time. Ticket prices for the Jakarta-Singapore route start at IDR1 million per seat. Conversely, the average ticket price for the Singapore-Jakarta route is IDR1.4 million per seat.

“We hope that the national airline will present more new routes to expand travel choices for the community, as well as to mark the growth of the national aviation industry,” Lukman concluded. [source/photo special]
