BIDAKARA Hotel Jakarta commemorated National Children’s Day 2026 with an event themed “Where Hope Begins” on Tuesday (07/21), 2026. This event was a collaboration between Bidakara Medical Center, Apotek Farmarin MATALESO Hospitality Academy, Kreaby, and Cute Monster, presenting various educational and fun activities for children with special needs.
This activity is part of Bidakara Hotel Jakarta’s commitment to supporting children with special needs while strengthening its role as a family-friendly destination. Several programs offered not only entertainment but also educational and health benefits for participants.
According to Wisnu Reza, General Manager of Bidakara Hotel Jakarta, in a separate interview, the commemoration of National Children’s Day aligns with Bidakara’s development direction, which is currently increasingly focused on the family and leisure segments. He believes that children are an important part of the family ecosystem, which is one of the main targets of the Bidakara area’s development.
“This activity is not just a celebration of National Children’s Day, but also part of our efforts to provide a comfortable, safe, and enjoyable space for families, especially children. We want Bidakara to be a place that can be enjoyed by all groups, including children with special needs,” he said.
Wisnu explained that Bidakara has long been known as a location for meetings, conferences, and various government and corporate events. However, in recent years, management has undertaken various transformations to expand the area’s function to become a more inclusive and open destination for the community.
“Through various family activities, sports, community activities, and special children’s programs, Bidakara strives to change public perception while introducing various updated facilities. This step is also part of the company’s strategy to increase public visitation, especially on weekends,” he said.
According to Wisnu, family events are important in building close relationships with the community. In addition to providing a positive experience for visitors, these activities also strengthen Bidakara’s image as a vibrant and active area around the clock.
The theme “Where Hope Begins” was chosen to symbolize hope and optimism for the future of Indonesian children.
