SINDIKASI MEDIA NETWORK (SMN) VISITS ARTOTEL SUITES AQUILA BANDUNG

AROUND forty journalists from the Syndicated Media Network (SMN) visited ARTOTEL Suites Aquila Bandung as part of a media gathering aimed at highlighting Bandung’s educational tourism potential.

The group was welcomed by Anton Susanto, General Manager of ARTOTEL Suites Aquila Bandung, who introduced the hotel’s transformation and the ARTOTEL Group’s commitment to providing a comfortable stay experience that is also connected to Bandung’s various tourism potential.

In his remarks, Anton explained that ARTOTEL Suites Aquila represents a new chapter for one of Bandung’s legendary hotels. He stated that the transformation is not intended to erase the hotel’s history, but rather to present a new identity while maintaining the historical value that has been inherent for years.

“This hotel has a long history in Bandung. We are not trying to repeat the past, but rather to present a new experience through a blend of classic character and the modern lifestyle that is typical of ARTOTEL,” Anton said.

He added that as a premium boutique hotel in the Pasteur area, ARTOTEL Suites Aquila enjoys a strategic location, offering easy access to Husein Sastranegara Airport, Bandung Station, toll roads, shopping centers, and various tourist destinations in the Flower City.

“This hotel offers more than 200 rooms and suites designed with a warm and elegant atmosphere, complete with a swimming pool, fitness center, Broadway Restaurant, and complete MICE facilities. There are 18 flexible meeting rooms, including the Nusantara Ballroom, which can accommodate up to 1,500 guests for various events, from seminars and conferences to corporate gatherings and wedding receptions,” he noted.

Anton emphasized that a hotel cannot develop alone. Therefore, ARTOTEL Suites Aquila continues to build collaborations with various stakeholders to strengthen Bandung’s tourism ecosystem.

“We want guests to not only stay but also enjoy the various experiences around the hotel. Bandung has a wealth of tourism potential that is not yet widely known to the public. Through collaborations like this, we hope that the economic benefits will also be felt by businesses and the community surrounding the hotel,” he affirmed.

During the media gathering, participants were also introduced to ARTOTEL Suites Aquila’s collaboration with PT Dirgantara Indonesia through the Edutainment Factory Tour program. This program offers an educational tourism experience that invites visitors to gain a closer look at the national aerospace industry while also expanding the choice of tourist destinations in Bandung.

Anton assessed this collaboration as a strategic step to strengthen Bandung’s image as an educational tourism city, known not only for its museums and shopping destinations, but also for its strengths in the industrial, technology, and innovation sectors.

Following the presentation session at the hotel, participants continued their visit to the PT Dirgantara Indonesia complex for an Edutainment Factory Tour and witnessed firsthand the development process of the nation’s aircraft industry.

Through this activity, Sindikasi Media Network, together with ARTOTEL Suites Aquila Bandung and PT Dirgantara Indonesia, hopes to increase public awareness of Bandung’s rich educational tourism potential and encourage cross-sector collaboration to strengthen the national tourism industry.
