WELCOMING the Christmas celebration and approaching the New Year eve, guests who enter the lobby of the Sari Pacific Hotel Jakarta will be greeted by a large gingerbread house, which is made in less than one week.
According to Abhi Gurung, Acting GM Sari Pacific Jakarta, said the hotel engineering team built the wooden frame, the pastry team led by Executive Pastry Chef Prambudiono prepared and attached the bread, while the Housekeeping team finished it with a beautiful decorative touch.
“Approximately 90 kilograms of gingerbread bread is used to make this 4 x 4 meter house a real creation. And, Sari Pacific Jakarta inaugurated it by holding a Festive Lighting Ceremony on last Monday, December 7, 2020,” he said.
Abdi Gurung added that we are pleased to announce the theme of this year’s festive, “Gingerbread House”, which will become a favorite photo spot for guests. This year’s celebration is different, but we hope this month will still provide an opportunity for everyone to celebrate togetherness with friends and family and have sweet memories.
