TOURISM MINISTRY PREPARES VACCINE-BASED FOR DOMESTIC TOURISTS IN BALI

THE Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy is preparing vaccine-based tourism for tourists who will visit Bali to stimulate tourism on the Island of the Gods.

According to Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, Sandiaga Uno during the Weekly Press Briefing in Magelang, Tuesday (6/22) said that the plan to open Bali, of course, this program will continue but must take into account the current situation related to the pandemic condition.

“In the midst of increasing cases of COVID-19, we have seen a decrease in domestic tourist visits to Bali, therefore we propose coordination steps with the Governor of Bali and I have reported this to the president and received his approval for vaccine-based tourism,” he said.

Vaccine-based tourism is the main option so that tourists who come to Bali get the vaccine so that it is not only the Balinese who get the vaccine, but it is certain that the tourists who enter Bali, both domestic tourists and foreign tourists, are already vaccinated.

“Thanks to organizations and institutions that have welcomed our invitation to work from Bali so that we can see an increase in tourist visits to Bali within the framework of strict health protocols,” Minister Sandiaga stated.

He conveyed that today and for the next few days his party will carry out Work From Borobudur or Work From Magelang as an expansion of Work From Destination and it is hoped that in addition to driving the local economy.

“I see this vaccination will be a precondition for our revival because it turns out that from the increase in COVID-19 cases affected are most of the people who have not been vaccinated.
