TRAVEL agencies make strategies to increase domestic tourism in the midst of the ongoing pandemic, including making attractive packages for domestic tourists.
According to the Head of Marketing Communication of Golden Rama Tours & Travel, Ricky Hilton, in an official statement, Wednesday (1/05) said the strategy for tourism revival continues to be improved so that consumers can still travel safely and comfortably.
“Our efforts to survive in the midst of a pandemic are the ability to adapt, continue to innovate, and collaborate well with partners. We must do this because now people’s behavior is starting to change, which is followed by tourism trends that have shifted during the pandemic,” Ricky said.
He pointed out that taking steps to adapt to the pandemic era, the various domestic packages offered were accompanied by the convenience and safety of consumers. As is the case with the procurement of staycation packages where the accommodation provided has met the applicable standardization of health protocols or has a Cleanliness, Health, Safety and Environmental Sustainability (CHSE) certificate.
Ricky explained that the travel agency continues to develop domestic superior products, such as a three-day tour package in Labuan Bajo which includes staying on a phinisi boat and also snorkeling.
On the island of the Gods, he continued, consumers can choose packages to enjoy the sunset on the Pirate Dinner Cruise Bali, complete with dinner on board, music, as well as entertainment along with games with the pirate crew.
He added, for those who want to set foot on the island of Sumba, this travel agency provides a premium four-day Magic of Nihi Sumba package complete with plane tickets and activities at the resort and the beach. Tourists can undergo spa activities, make chocolate, swim with horses on the beach to snorkel at Nihiwatu beach.
“Market demand began to increase at the end of the year for domestic packages. Labuan Bajo, Bali and Lombok are among the most popular destinations, especially group incentive. We are very optimistic that in 2022, Indonesian tourism will gradually recover and rise. Holiday connoisseurs of course can’t wait to be able to explore Indonesia’s natural wealth, which of course must be accompanied by remaining obedient to health protocols,” concluded Ricky.
