THE INDONESIA’S tourism sector cannot be separated from providing guarantees of cleanliness, health, and high environmental sustainability for products and services so that public trust can rise again.
In this case, the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy has granted CHSE (Cleanliness, Health, Safety & Environment Sustainability) certification, among others, to the hotel, restaurant, tourist attraction, white water rafting, tourist lodge, tourist transportation business and golf sectors that have also integrated with the PeduliLindungi application.
This is part of VUCA (volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity) in the new normal era, and of course this must be addressed with strict and disciplined health protocols. Currently, the government is said to be oriented towards restoring the economy and encouraging the use of tourism digitization and the creative economy so that economic opportunities for the community are wide open.
Especially for the tourism sector, it is said to be able to generate prosperity for the community and provide additional income online and offline by developing including the culinary, craft, fashion, creative products, and tourist attraction sectors.
The innovative ideas have been and will continue to be designed and implemented. What we want is that people’s standard of living will increase, and it will be revitalized in order to expand job opportunities.
In addition, the Indonesian government will improve the water quality in the lake and other lakes in the area. It will also empower MSMEs (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) tourist villages and other tourist villages, which will be developed with the concept of a creative village.
The creation of tourist villages and creative villages will open up opportunities for homestay actors and local MSMEs, so that later they can be upgraded to become hotel owners.
