STARTING of 2022, CEO of PT Dafam Hotel Management (DHM), Andhy Irawan MBA won the Special Award Best CEO Indonesia 2021 from SWA Media Group in collaboration with Dunamis Organization Services.
According to the Chief Editor of SWA Media Group, Kemal E Gani said this award was given on February 16, 2022 virtually in a webinar entitled ‘Decoding Leadership Agility for Stronger Business in New Era, Great Lesson from Indonesia Best CEO 2021’.
“This award was given to 15 CEOs from well-known companies from the private sector, State-Owned Enterprises and Regional-Owned Enterprises in the form of a strict survey assessment during 2021 and this year the survey is quite challenging because our leaders face a challenge in the pandemic era along with the findings of innovative breakthroughs by para-CEOs where each elected leader has a different and unique strategic emphasis from one another,” said Kemal E Gani.
He explained that the requirements for a CEO who can participate are that the company he leads must have good performance and implement good corporate governance.
“Then the CEO’s performance is assessed by employees at managerial level up to 3 layers below the CEO, then employees will evaluate their respective CEOs through various questions and the results appear in the Leadership Index as a measure, and are included in the Best category. CEOs are those who have an index above 90,” he remarked.
Meanwhile Andhy Irawan said that as the top leader of PT Dafam Hotel Management (DHM who always leads with the leadership of the Ki Hajar Dewantoro Trilogy, he is considered capable of leading the company based on the ‘The 4 Essential Roles of Leadership’ approach developed by FrankinCovey, namely building trust in employees in the midst of change so that company is able to survive (inspire trust).
He added, namely creating company goals (create vision), executing strategy (execute strategy), and being able to place the right people in the organization (coach potential). This award is not for me but for the entire DHM Superteam in Indonesia, I am grateful that all of this happened because of the permission of Allah SWT, and let this award be able to spur the performance of all of us (DHM throughout Indonesia) to be better in the future and always beneficial for employees and the community.
