TALKING about punctuality, Japan is a country that really values time. In matters of traveling, Sakura Country also managed to record the best score in matters of punctuality at the airport.
This was revealed in a report recently released by an aviation analysis company from England, Cirium. In its latest report, Cirium released The Top Performing Global Airports 2022.
To determine the list, they curated more than 600 flight real-time data information. Including, airlines, airports, civil aviation authorities, air navigation service providers, and so on.
In addition, they also count the total number of flights which are then compared with the results of flights that are running according to schedule.
Cirium also explained in his report that the flights that were on time were those that took place 15 minutes before departure. Cirium CEO, Jeremy Bowen, said that airports that managed to record the best time even in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic was a great achievement.
“Getting back to operations so quickly after an enforced slowdown was not easy and the top-ranked airlines and airports in Cirium’s 2022 On-Time Performance Review deserve their recognition for this well-arranged achievement,” he said.
