SINGAPORE Airlines (SIA) has made another innovation to pamper its passengers. Most recently, they have just launched a free Wi-Fi service for all classes, from economy to business class.
The free unlimited in-flight Wi-Fi service will be provided to all Singapore Airlines business class customers, as well as PPS Club members and PPS Club add-on cardholders. KrisFlyer members can enjoy three hours of free Wi-Fi when traveling in premium economy class and two hours of free Wi-Fi in economy class.
“Staying connected, even when 35,000 feet in the air, has become an important aspect of the travel experience. With our enhanced Wi-Fi offerings, SIA customers can stay in touch with their loved ones, post photos and videos on their social media accounts, or catch up on the latest news,” Yeoh Phee Teik, Senior Vice President Customer Experience of Singapore Airlines, said in an official statement.
“This service enhancement is also our response to customer feedback, and part of our ongoing investment to improve the travel experience and maintain SIA’s leadership position,” he continued.
Later, passengers who are not KrisFlyer members, or KrisFlyer members who already use the free package during the flight, can also add their package at an affordable price. The package starts from 5.25 Singapore dollars for one hour, 11.8 Singapore dollars for three hours, and 21 Singapore dollars for the entire flight.
Previously, passengers in business class and PPS Club members received 100 MB of free in-flight Wi-Fi service. While KrisFlyer members traveling in premium economy and economy class get free Wi-Fi service for text messages only during the flight. [sources/photo special]
