According to Tourism and Creative Economy Minister Sandiaga Uno after attending a Coordination Meeting with the Coordinating Ministry for Maritime Affairs and Investment in Jakarta, Wednesday (02/08), 2023 said the President has given direction to me and the Ministry of Transportation to increase the number of flights and availability of seats with airlines that are ready for China especially and India which is a very potential opportunity.
In addition, he continued, there is a study of Avtur fuel prices, which is a significant component related to ticket prices, which will later be reported to State-Owned Enterprises Minister, Erick Thohir.
Sandiaga emphasized that his party is focused on trying to make Avtur fuel competitive. Therefore, through the addition of flights and the availability of seats, it is hoped that it will contribute to ticket prices gradually falling.
Launching Pertamina’s One Solution data, the price of Avtur fuel for domestic routes at Soekarno Hatta Airport (CGK) for the period 1-14 February 2023 dropped to IDR14,947.59 per liter for domestic flights and 88.9 US cents/liter for international flights.
