BATIK AIR announced the expansion of its international flight connectivity from Indonesia. The ID-coded airline will soon offer ease of travel for travelers who want to visit Japan.
According to the Corporate Communications Strategic of Batik air, Danang Mandala Prihantoro, as quoted from his official statement said Batik Air offers a new choice of traveling abroad to Nagoya in Japan from Indonesia. Batik Air’s new service to Nagoya is designed specifically for medium-distance routes and is connected to Batik Air Malaysia. Batik Air is committed to providing guests with better product offerings for an unforgettable travel experience.
Furthermore, Nagoya is one of the most popular destination cities in Japan after other destinations such as Narita, Osaka, Sapporo, and Hokkaido. Nagoya is also one of the most important cities in Japan which is the center of business and tourism.
“Tourism destinations include Nagoya Castle, Atsuta Shrine and Japanese Garden, as well as restaurants and shops serving Japanese food and handicrafts,” Danang continued.
Meanwhile, for business, Nagoya is known as an industrial center and the base of several large companies such as Toyota, Mitsubishi, and Honda. Not only that, to facilitate tourist travel, Nagoya also has an integrated transportation system such as subways, buses, and Shinkansen high-speed trains that connect it with three other major cities in Japan such as Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka.
“Nagoya is very strategic, located in the center of Japan and is the gateway to the Chubu region, known as the most developed region in Japan,” he said.
Batik Air Indonesia-Japan Flight Routes
The flight route to Japan is planned to be served on March 30, 2023 with a schedule three times a week, namely every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Meanwhile, the flight route will be served by Boeing 737 aircraft with economy (3-3) and business (2-2) class configurations.
Although it has not detailed the flight schedule further, Batik Air explained that this route has roots in more than 23 major cities in Indonesia. This route will be served from central, eastern, to western Indonesia.
Batik Air also offers transit flights from two major airports abroad, namely Kuala Lumpur International Airport in Malaysia (KLIA) and Taipei Taoyuan International Airport in Taiwan (TPE).
Danang added, this new route is expected to support the Indonesian Government’s efforts to bring foreign tourists to Indonesia through the Proud to Travel in Indonesia movement.
“It is hoped that this new route can strengthen air connectivity between Indonesia and Japan, thus encouraging an increase in the number of foreign tourists visiting Indonesia and bringing benefits to the Indonesian tourism sector,” Danang concluded. [sources/photo special]
