SCOOT INCREASES FLIGHT FREQUENCY FROM SINGAPORE TO LOMBOK, YOGYAKARTA

IN ORDER to attract more tourists from Indonesia, Scoot, a low-cost airline subsidiary of Singapore Airlines, is increasing its flight frequencies. Starting in May 2023, Scoot will increase its weekly flight frequency between Singapore and Lombok, Yogyakarta, Makassar, and Pekanbaru.

According to Scoot Indonesia General Manager, Johanes Ong, Indonesia is an important market for Scoot. This is also why they have increased flight frequencies to several cities in Indonesia.

“We are very pleased to be able to add flight frequencies to Lombok, Yogyakarta, Makassar and Pekanbaru. This additional flight frequency will provide more flexibility for our customers in planning their trips to various destinations in Indonesia,” Ong said, as quoted from an official statement received by the coil.

Later, the flight frequency to Lombok will double, from previously only twice per week, now to four times. Meanwhile, the frequency of flights to Yogyakarta will increase from three times to seven times per week.

Furthermore, flights to Makassar will increase from twice to three times per week. While the frequency of flights to Pekanbaru will increase from twice to five times each week.
