To determine the tourist destination, they collected data over a period of one year. Not only that, in their research methodology, the research team also used the Google search site to determine which popular tourist destinations are most sought after and which tourists want to visit.
As a result, the Maldives is the destination most searched for by tourists on Google. According to the survey, there were 2,457,000 searches on Google. Apart from the Maldives, there are two other top countries that are most sought after by tourists.
Following the Maldives, India is ranked second as the next most searched country, with a total of 1,478,300 searches. Meanwhile, the next most sought after destination by tourists is Singapore with a total of 1,224,500 searches.
