A total of 478,761 vehicles left Jabodetabek or an increase of 9.13% compared to normal conditions.

The increase was recorded at four main gates, namely Cikupa Toll Gate (GT) to Merak, Ciawi GT to Puncak, Cikampek Utama GT to Trans Java and Kalihurip Utama GT to Bandung.
Meanwhile, as for destinations, a number of tourists’ favorite destinations in Jakarta are the main destinations. These include Ragunan Zoo, Taman Mini Indonesia Indah, and Taman Impian Jaya Ancol.
“For Taman Impian Jaya Ancol, more than 111 thousand visits have certainly increased the movement of tourists. Meanwhile, outside Jabodetabek, the destinations that are crowded with tourists are Ciwidey, Lembang and Pangandaran for West Java; Kota Lama Semarang, Borobudur, Malioboro and Dieng for destinations in Central Java and Yogyakarta,” he said.
Sandiaga hopes that this increase in movements will strengthen the achievement of the tourism and creative economy performance target in 2024, which is to reach 1.2 billion to 1.5 billion movements.
