PRESIDENT Joko Widodo (Jokowi) hopes that the spirit of togetherness at the 10th World Water Forum (WWF) dinner at the Garuda Wisnu Kencana (GWK) Cultural Park in Bali on Sunday night can strengthen cooperation among participating countries.
“I hope that the spirit of togetherness tonight can lead us to work together to ensure access to clean water and sanitation for all,” said President Jokowi in his opening remarks at the 10th World Water Forum Delegates’ Dinner at the Garuda Wisnu Kencana (GWK) Cultural Park, Bali, Sunday evening (05/19), 2024.
The President welcomed the Heads of State and 10th World Water Forum delegates attending the evening and thanked the guests for attending the 10th World Water Forum. “Enjoy dinner and a show from Indonesia,” Jokowi said.
Earlier, President Jokowi greeted the heads of state and delegates of the 10th World Water Forum one by one as they arrived at the Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park (GWK), Bali.
Jokowi was seen shaking hands and greeting each of the heads of state and delegates present, according to a live YouTube feed from the Presidential Secretariat. Jokowi was also seen chatting with the invited guests in attendance.
The heads of state and delegates to the 10th World Water Forum were treated to a banquet of traditional Indonesian dishes, accompanied by welcoming performances in line with the theme of the World Water Forum. [antaranews]
