DUSIT International has signed a partnership agreement with VillaCarte Group, a Phuket-based real estate development company with a diverse portfolio of villas, apartments, hotels, bars and restaurants, to manage a dual-branded luxury hotel and apartment complex at the heart of VillaCarte’s highly anticipated Layan Verde development on Phuket’s West Coast.
Located just 800 meters from Bang Tao Beach, where Dusit has operated the acclaimed Dusit Thani Laguna Phuket resort for over 30 years, Layan Verde covers an area of 108,000 square meters and comprises 15 mid-rise buildings that have been carefully integrated into the natural surroundings.
The Dusit Collection – Layan Verde is the first property to be signed under Dusit’s new luxury brand, the Dusit Collection, comprising five buildings and 398 rooms. This brand is for luxury hotels in iconic destinations that have a unique story to tell and are distinguished by their unique architecture, tasteful design and distinctive guest experience.
Dusit will also manage a further five properties comprising 388 rooms under the Dusit Residences – Layan Verde brand. The Dusit Residences brand leverages Dusit’s rich experience in operating luxury hotels and resorts in key destinations around the world to bring the same five-star level of service to residents of luxury condominiums and apartments.
Beautifully landscaped and designed to elevate the luxury residential offering in the region, the project will also include a shopping center and an ocean club. All components, including the hotel and residences, are scheduled to open in 2027.
Reflecting VillaCarte Group’s vision for sustainable real estate development and Dusit’s commitment to making a positive impact wherever it treads, the entire project will follow the concept of biophilic architecture, with a focus on energy efficiency, sustainability, inspiration from nature and conservation.
In keeping with this philosophy, the interiors of the hotel and residences will be finished with eco-friendly, moisture-resistant materials complemented by premium, high-quality furnishings. Advanced EDGE-certified technology will be used to reduce water and electricity consumption by up to 45%.
