VERTU Harmoni Jakarta and Alleira successfully hosted a captivating event titled “A Taste of Nusantara” at the prestigious Voyage Resto & Bar on August 18, 2024 which was a vibrant celebration of Indonesia’s Independence Day, combining a culinary journey through the archipelago & diverse flavors with a showcase of Alleira’s latest fashion collection.
According to Roman Soleh, Asst. Director of Marketing & Branding, Vertu Harmoni Jakarta said we are thrilled with the success of ‘A Taste of Nusantara’, this event allowed us to celebrate Indonesia’s rich heritage while supporting a worthy cause. We are grateful to our partners Alleira, Lion Club International and Carys Care for their invaluable contributions.
“In the spirit of unity and compassion, the event collaborated with Lion Club International and Carrys Care’s Kids with Down Syndrome, who served as inspirational muses. Their participation added a touch of heartfelt meaning to the celebration,” he said.
Roman Soleh explained that guests were treated to an exquisite culinary experience with a variety of Indonesian dishes, including the famous Ayam Isi Bulu Khas Manado, Nasi Ujung Pandang and Bebek Betutu, all meticulously prepared by Voyage Resto & Bar.
Meanwhile, Zaka Hamzah, CEO of Alleira Batik, said that while enjoying the authentic flavors, guests had the opportunity to admire the latest Alleira collection through a captivating trunk show. The stunning garments were brought to life through the graceful presence of the muses from Lion Club International and children with Down Syndrome from Carys Care.
Zaka added that to further contribute to the community, a portion of the sales from Alleira’s collection was donated to Carrys Care, demonstrating Vertu Harmoni Jakarta and Alleira’s commitment to social responsibility.
“This collaborative event not only celebrates Indonesia’s rich culinary heritage and fashion, but also provides a platform to support our community, especially the children with Down syndrome at Carry’s Care.
