JAKARTA Media Crew’s Association (HAM Jakarta) entering its 17th year is not an easy journey, the ups and downs of the media world have declined, several media, especially print media have begun to fall due to the shift from print to online, but the friendship of the media crew has been able to survive for 17 years. On its 17th birthday, the theme was “Love & Togetherness”, which took place at the Artotel GBK Jakarta Swimming Pool, on Friday, (11/22), 2024.
According to the chairman of HAM Jakarta, Arief Suharto, in his speech said the 17-year journey proves the solidarity of HAM friends, its members are also increasing, the name HAM Jakarta is already known among the community, both corporate and hospitality. Every event held by HAM always gets a positive place among all stakeholders or companies, sponsors also come from various companies.
“I, on behalf of Jakarta Media Crew’s Association, would like to express my gratitude to all the sponsors involved in this event, without them perhaps the HAM Jakarta event would not be as great as this, especially Artotel Gelora Senayan who provided facilities for the implementation of the 17th HAM Anniversary. For your information, HAM Jakarta is now a legal entity as a foundation under the auspices of a legal institution, so if there are companies that want to cooperate with HAM Jakarta, its legal status is clear,” said Arief.
Meanwhile, Shalfi Andri as the founder and first chairman of HAM Jakarta told the history of the establishment of HAM Jakarta, starting from the frequent gathering of media friends at a cafe in Semanggi area in South Jakarta, starting from the association, a meeting was held on November 23, 2007 at Arion Hotel Bandung, which at that time was led by Andhy Irawan as General Manager.
“On that day, the Jakarta Media Crew’s Association was formed for the first time, fully supported by Andhy Irawan as the host, and blessing, it can be compact and solid until its 17th year,” Shalfi affirmed.
HAM Jakarta is a media community in Jakarta consisting of print media, electronic media and online media whose existence is now much needed by all stakeholders or other companies in general.
“For example, if there is a company that is going to hold an event, there is no need to invite the media in Jakarta one by one, just contact the chairman of HAM Jakarta, then the invitation will be distributed to all media that are members of the Jakarta Media Crew’s Association,” he added.
During the jouney, the Jakarta Media Crew’s Association was accompanied by several media teams, namely the 1st chairman of HAM Jakarta, Shalfi Andri (Tempo), the 2nd chairman of HAM Jakarta, Hadi Suwarno (Indonesia Today), the 3rd chairman of HAM Jakarta, Kiki Harahap (Market Plus), the 4th Chairman of HAM Jakarta, Pasha Ernowo (Vakansi. co), and the 5th Chairman of HAM Jakarta, Arief Suharto (Tripbiru.com).
The 17th anniversary celebration of HAM Jakarta was enlivened by the presence of media colleagues, hotel friends and sponsors who supported the event. At least 100 people attended the celebration at Artotel GBK Jakarta. In addition to socializing and meeting old friends, all guests could enjoy a variety of special dishes prepared by the chef of Artotel GBK in a buffet.
