ARTOTEL Thamrin Jakarta (ATJ) is pleased to announce a new visual experience, “The Diamond World: A Leaked Portal” art exhibition, featuring the imaginative works of young artists, including Ragasastra Gunawan, who is only 12 years old. This exhibition is a tangible manifestation of the ARTOTEL Group’s commitment to embracing cross-generational talent and celebrating boundless creativity through art.
Ragasastra is recognized for his practice of sketching vibrant illustrations during his engagements. He has introduced the imaginative realm of Dimondy World, a universe replete with distinctive characters and enchanting tales that stimulate the creativity of children authentically.
This exhibition is more than a single event; it is a comprehensive exploration of the art and history of the world. A Leaked Portal” also becomes the launch room of Shimmu and Friends, an IP (Intellectual Property) that is the result of a collaboration between the body and the life of the platform. This collaboration focused on the development of character and creative world from Indonesia.
According to Fuad Muzakki, the General Manager of ATJ, has communicated the following message: The objective of this exhibition is to demonstrate that every expression has its place, including those created by children. The imagination of the body is evidence that creativity can be cultivated from an early age and has significant potential for further development.
Likewise, Windi Solomon of Art Director ARTOTEL Group also commented on the exhibition, stating that it serves as a reminder that art is not limited by age, but rather by one’s courage to express the world through artistic expression. Dimondy World is a unique and authentic reflection of pure expressions that are rarely filtered, and precisely that makes it magical.
The exhibition lasts until 30 September 2025 at Artspace, Mezzanine Floor, ATJ and is open to the public. Through the work of Ragasastra and the Shimmu and Friends universe, visitors are invited to dive into the world of imagination children who grow into creative inspiration.
