TO PENETRATE GLOBAL MARKET, PT LOVINA BREWERY-COCO BALI PTE COLLABORATES

PT LOVINA Beach Brewery Tbk has entered into a strategic partnership with COCO BALI PTE LTD to launch a new ready-to-drink (RTD) product category, COCO BALI, and two premium spirits, CLARISSA and LIBARRON. All three products carry the DNA of being born in Bali, developed in Singapore, and designed for global consumers.

According to Bona Budhisurya, President Director of PT Lovina Beach Brewery Tbk, said the company’s products are distinguished by their strong Bali DNA. These products were developed in Singapore and designed to tap into global market potential. The first product, COCO BALI, is poised to become a popular choice in the ready-to-drink (RTD) market. The launch of this product is in response to the positive trend in the RTD beverage market worldwide.

“The collaboration between the two companies is aimed at capturing opportunities in the Asia Pacific market, particularly in Indonesia. They are initially introducing three brands to the Indonesian market: COCO BALI RTD is followed by two premium spirits brands, CLARISSA and LIBARRON. Each of these products offers distinct value and unique selling points, with a focus on different market segments,” stated Bona.

He explained that the Indonesian food and beverage industry is a major sector in the economy and is expected to continue growing. Urbanization and increasingly rapid lifestyles are driving demand for convenient products like ready-to-drink (RTD) beverages. There is also an increasing awareness of health issues, which is prompting consumers to opt for low-sugar beverages, natural or organic options, or functional or health-oriented drinks.

“Amidst these opportunities that they will also face challenges in building taste perceptions in the market. Most RTD consumers in Indonesia are accustomed to a sweet taste profile, so consistent communication efforts are needed to introduce a cleaner, more balanced, and more refreshing taste experience as an added value,” he said.
