DIGITAL travel platform Agoda announced the winners of the 2025 Gold Circle Awards, recognizing more than 3,000 hotel partners worldwide who are leading the way in operational consistency within the Agoda ecosystem.
According to Gede Gunawan, Agoda’s Senior Country Director for Indonesia, said now in its 17th edition, the Agoda Gold Circle Awards highlight accommodations that consistently deliver high service standards, maintain strong digital engagement, and remain adaptive.
“Indonesia ranks third in this year’s Agoda awards rankings, alongside Japan, Malaysia, Thailand, and South Korea, reflecting the competitiveness of partners in an increasingly competitive region,” he said.
He noted that in Indonesia, the winners are dominated by prime destinations for leisure and business travel. Bali, with more than 60 awardees, maintained its position as the city with the highest number of Gold Circle Award recipients in Indonesia, followed by Jakarta and Bandung as the cities with the next highest concentration of winners.
“This demonstrates that partners in high-traffic destinations are able to maintain consistency in their daily operations while remaining digitally competitive amidst the ever-evolving travel landscape,” he affirmed.
Indonesia’s continued strong performance in this ranking aligns with dynamic regional travel patterns. With 489% year-on-year growth in accommodation searches, Indonesia remains a top choice for travelers in the region, with an increasingly diverse guest profile.
This opens up opportunities for accommodation partners to stand out through localization efforts, from listing accuracy and language options to facility visibility and tailored communications, helping guests understand the offering from the outset.
“The Gold Circle Award winners in Indonesia reflect how consistency is put into practice. These partners remain disciplined in their core operations while also strong in their digital execution, helping travelers book with more confidence and receive a reliable experience upon arrival,” he added.
He also explained that as interest in Indonesia remains strong in the region, hotels that maintain standards, are responsive to guest needs, and simplify the selection process will be more readily identified amidst the abundance of options. We are proud to recognize this year’s winners and will continue to provide support and solutions to help our partners thrive.
Regional travel demand remains dynamic, with intra-Asia travel continuing to shape travel patterns in the region, as revealed in Agoda’s latest “Tailored to Win” report.
As traveler profiles become more diverse and expectations for seamless digital experiences rise, the Gold Circle Awards recognize hotel partners who maintain strong operational foundations while optimizing how they reach and serve travelers through the Agoda platform at scale.
