INJOURNEY COMMITMENTS TO STRENGTHEN INDONESIA’s TOURISM SECTOR

INJOURNEY Commercial Director Veronica H. Sisilia stated her commitment to strengthening the tourism sector in Indonesia with various strategies and collaborative steps.

“Injourney has committed to building a stronger and more connected tourism ecosystem,” said Veronica at a press conference in Jakarta, Wednesday (05/12), 2026.

Veronica said that as a BUMN holding in the aviation and tourism sector under the auspices of Danantara, PT Aviasi Wisata Indonesia or InJourney has a strategic mandate to orchestrate the national tourism ecosystem in an integrated manner.

Through six business clusters which include airport management, airport services, destinations, hospitality, retail, and regional development, InJourney plays a role in strengthening connectivity, expanding tourism promotions, and providing a more seamless travel experience for tourists.

In this case, InJourney working with partners such as Klook is a strategic step to expand exposure of Indonesian destinations through global digital channels that are relevant to modern tourist behavior.

This synergy is not only aimed at increasing destination visibility, but also encouraging conversion of visits through the promotion of tourist activities, local experiences and easier travel packages.

Through collaboration with Klook, he explained that InJourney will present an integrated promotional campaign, starting from digital activation, collaboration with KOLs (Key Opinion Leaders) and influencers, to promotion of various tourist activities and local experiences available on the Klook platform.

This initiative is expected to strengthen Indonesia’s position as a leading destination that is not only rich in attractions, but also increasingly accessible in the global digital travel ecosystem.

Veronica also emphasized the importance of providing an interesting experience for all tourists from the entrance to Indonesia.

On this occasion, Veronica hopes to find companies that are committed to collaborating in the development of the tourism ecosystem, either through joint promotions, marketing initiatives or other business developments.

“We believe that this collaboration will create new opportunities to improve the rescue experience, increase destination exposure and support the development of the Indonesian tourism industry,” she concluded. [antaranews]
