THE launch edition of Hotelex Indonesia & Finefood Indonesia will be held July 18-20 at JIEXPO Kemayoran, Jakarta, Indonesia. In addition to occupying over 10,000 sqm in space and hosting more than 200 companies from 26 countries, the new food and hospitality event dedicated to the high-end speciality food, drink & horeca sector and showcasing the most exclusive international brands.
According to Adhi Lukman, Chairman of the Indonesian Food and Beverage Association (Gapmmi) said Hotelex Indonesia and Finefood Indonesia covering the value chain from Catering Equipment, Tableware to Catering Supplies, Fine Food, Beverage, Bakery & Ice Cream, Coffee & Tea, Wine & Spirits and Cooking Ingredients, etc.
“Hotelex Indonesia will host several competitions and specialty events including the 1st Asian Gourmet Food Challenge with 8 Indonesian teams and representing 6 countries including Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, South India, Myanmar and Brunei, the 7th edition of Indonesia Coffee Event (ICE) – a competition dedicated to finding the best Barista in Indonesia, a two-day Roasting Class Workshop organised by Association of Indonesian Coffee Exporters and Industries (AICE), and The Indonesian Gelato Workshop, in collaboration with Carpigiani in preparation for the upcoming 2020 Asian Gelato Cup and 2022 World Gelato Cup,” he said.
Adhi Lukman mentioned that Hotelex Indonesia will also offer several workshops for Professional Gelato Pastry Chefs and Restaurant Chefs. The Indonesian Packaging Federation (IPF) will also present a seminar on High Performance Packaging for premium brands. The Indonesian Packaging Federation (IPF) is a member of the Asian Packaging Federation (APF) and World Packaging Organization (WPO).
