Wishnutama is aware of many ‘out of the box’ ideas from millennials that are actually needed in developing creative industries, often collided with the bureaucratic system.

“This is one obstacle that I have noticed, but there must be a way. The important thing is the intention to make changes first. Young people in the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy & Tourism I try to be the trigger, become the motor of change,” Minister Wishnutama explained.

He continued, with the bureaucratic system that has been formed for a long time, to make changes is certainly not an easy matter. But clear objectives can provide direction. The important thing is the goal is clear, what we want. This change has a good effect not on the future of this nation. That is important!

“Young people needed are courage. Courage to follow their hearts. Second, the ability to solve various problems. Third, the ability to work together, collaborate with others. In the future there is no one alone, all are team’s part,” Nadiem noted.

Millennial generation opportunities to occupy various important positions in government and companies are also considered to be increasingly large and necessary.

This is even the commitment of State-Owned Enterprises Minister Erick Thohir said the key to good corporate governance is morals. How to manage professionally and transparently. With our commitment at State-Owned Enterprises, if possible, there will be more directors from millennial generation.

“Now it’s only 5. If the number of 142 companies, the target is only 5-10% is good. Means the number of 10 to 15 millennial. It’s not difficult to look for it as long as it’s given the chance,” Erick Thohir concluded. [traveltext.id]
