YASONNA LAOLY: TOURIST ATTRACTION & INVESTMENT, E-VISA SERVICE LAUNCHED

INDONESIA’S Minister of Law and Human Rights, Yasonna Laoly launched an online visa application for foreign nationality who wish to enter Indonesia.

“I hope this can help economic recovery through accelerated investment and tourism after the COVID-19 pandemic ends. The application of electronic visa services is expected to bring a positive message to the outside world that Indonesia has carried out bureaucratic reform and is ready to become an investment destination, “he said at the launch of the e-Visa application.

He explained that the online visa application is an innovation of his ranks to provide faster, easier and more transparent services. With this e-visa application, foreigners who intend to enter Indonesia now only need to apply for a visa and fill in the required data online by accessing the website www.visa-online.imigrasi.go.id.

“Approval of visa applications will also be submitted online via electronic mail and do not need to be printed on paper (paperless),” he said.

He added, through this application, it is hoped that the visa service process will be more transparent, faster, easier, and most importantly, without compromising data security and crossing factors. With this e-visa service, it can provide easy access in choosing a tourism destination.
