TAKE A CLOSER LOOK AT BALI TOURISM PREPARATIONS WELCOMING VISITORS

AFTER being sluggish due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the tourism and creative economy sectors in Bali are ready to revive. One way to do this is through Work From Bali (WFB), which is one of the policies taken by the government in an effort to revive the tourism sector and the creative economy.

The Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy/Head of the Tourism and Creative Economy Agency, Sandiaga Uno, said that the WFB policy would be launched in the third quarter or July 2021 in stages. Work From Bali can be a step that is right on target and has the right benefits. So that it is hoped that it will help the Balinese people who mostly depend on their jobs in this sector.

“We also get added value, namely beautiful scenery, increased productivity, and also at the same time we help our brothers and sisters in Bali,” said Minister Sandiaga Uno, at the end of May 2021.

Through WFB, transactions for creative economy products and Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) such as culinary, souvenirs and fashion as well as other people’s economic activities will have an impact of up to 70%. Of course, during an activity or meeting in Bali, each party must be disciplined in implementing health protocols such as wearing masks, keep your distance and wash your hands with soap.

In order for visitors to feel safe, Bali also continues to boost the vaccination program. According to the target, there are 6 million vaccines distributed, or about 3 million people in Bali who will be vaccinated.

Even some destinations in Bali such as Nusa Dua, Sanur, and Ubud are used as concrete examples to increase domestic and foreign market confidence.

Bali tourism, especially in the three pilot green zone locations named SUN namely Sanur, Ubud, and Nusa Dua, is planned to be reopened to foreign tourists in mid-2021

The three areas are made into the green zone area, aka the most recommended for tourists, both domestic and foreign. Tourist destinations in the green zone are ensured to apply the Cleanliness Health Safety Environment sustainability (CHSE) protocol strictly and disciplined, for the convenience and safety of visitors.
